Cave of Eblan
Twenty chests across the cave and the path beyond, plus a settlement with shops and 2 hidden items partway through. The cave is short; the Path to the Tower of Babel afterward is packed with fake walls hiding treasure. Steel Golem and Skuldier also spawn here but should already be registered from your earlier Eblan Castle visit.
Cave of Eblan
One new bestiary entry, plus three chests across B1. Bloody Bat is weak to Fire and Projectile but absorbs Lightning, so skip Thunder spells (Fire arrows or Rydia’s Fira are the cleanest options).
B1
From the entrance, walk east through a fake wall and open the chest for a Shuriken. Continue east through another fake wall for a Remedy. Loop back to the first chest and take the stairs down to the water. Cut east, south past the stream, then up the stairs and all the way south for a Vampire Fang. Push north a bit, west across the bridge, south across another bridge, then west and take the stairs down.
The south exit leads to the Eblan Settlement, not B2.
Eblan Settlement
Shops
No random encounters inside. Restock at the shops, then look for the hidden items.
Hidden Items
Walk west and enter the leftmost room. Search the pot by the entrance for a Potion. Cut to the west end and check the second pot from top to bottom for another Potion. That’s 2/2 hidden items. Exit the room and walk north through the stairs to continue.
Path to the Tower of Babel
You’re back in the dungeon. This section is full of hidden passages, so follow the directions carefully. Seventeen chests remain.
Entrance and Upper Area
Open the chest by the entrance for an Ether. Walk north and grab the Tent by the stairs. From that chest, walk to the fallen soldier and push south into the wall to find a secret passage. Follow it to a Hi-Potion.
Return to the fallen soldier and climb upstairs. Cut northeast and up the small staircase. Open the reachable chest for a Bomb Core. Walk south past three stones and push east into the wall to reveal a secret passage. Follow it for a Shuriken. Return to the main path and continue south through the stairs.
Lower Area
You’re on the same screen but a different area. Open the three chests by the entrance: Cottage, Hi-Potion, and Hi-Potion. Stand one tile diagonally above the top rock and push east into the wall to find a secret passage. Follow it to an isolated area with two Elixirs. Backtrack and continue south then west for a Spider’s Silk. Walk east to find three chests packed together: Silver Hourglass, Phoenix Down, and Phoenix Down. Follow the path north and up the stairs.
Safe Room and Final Stretch
Enter the room on the east side. There’s a save point and a chest behind a hidden passage. The passage entrance is above the four rocks on the east; cut northeast and push east into the wall to reveal it. The chest is a monster-in-a-box against two Steel Golems. Reward: Blood Sword. Exit the room.
Walk west and up the stairs for a Gold Needle. Backtrack to the entrance and continue north along the east path to find two NPCs. Approach them for a cutscene. Edge joins the party; equip him with the Kunai you picked up earlier.
After the scene, push west into the wall to find a secret passage leading to a previously blocked chest: Dry Ether. That’s 20/20 chests for this dungeon. Walk north through the stairs to enter the Tower of Babel.
